Box Braids are considered a protective style YES OR NO???

If you answered NO then you are CORRECT!

Like many other African American women, I have lost edges and some other hair in between with box braids.  I absolutely love the style but I hate the fact that I have to lose hair to rock this beautiful style.

Protective styles are styles that protect both the ends and the roots and requires little to no styling.  Examples of protective styles for me at this point are WIGS!!!

Wigs protect your hair from heat, continuous styling, friction, pulling etc.  It’s a wig. 3 step EASY process. TAKE ON, STYLE, TAKE OFF!!! IMG_1687

Are you tired of paying hundred of dollars on box braids that fall out a week later?  Have you experienced balding or thinning from this so called protective style?
